Hoylake Model Boat Club was formed on 1st October, 2009 and is now in it's nineth year.

The club endeavours to bring together members for the purpose of exchanging ideas and opinions on subjects connected with the designing, constructing, testing and sailing of model boats.  People of all ages are encouraged to join, and it thinks of itself as a fun club. We sail on the Lake adjacent to the  new Lifeboat Station on North Parade Hoylake Postcode CH47 3AL.

We hold our meetings at Sheridans in Wallasey Village on the third Monday in the Month at 7.30pm.

We normally meet every Wednesday down at the lake at about 10.30am and go on for our lunch at the Saughall Pub at about 12.30pm but due to the lake cleaning and refurbishment we now  go to New Brighton model boating lake and dine at Sheridans Wallasey Village, weather permitting.

During the winter months and bad weather on Wednesdays,we meet at the lake or in the Community Centre by the lake and proceed to a local hostelry at about noon for a light lunch and a natter . All members are welcome.

The membership fee for 2018 is £10 and £15 for family membership.
