LATEST NEWS Meeting Venue Etc.

Update 19th June 2021

Owing to the Covid pandemic we are unable to have our monthly meetings at the Saughall Pub.

Our lake is also out of action due to excessive algea. The council and club mebers have cleared the surrounds from the sand and are now waiting for further action from the council regarding the state of the water in the lake.

The ravages of time and weather on the seafront has necessitated replacement of metal supports on our boat stands at the rear of seating. Fortunately "we know a man who can"

One of our members Terry W, fabricated new metal supports and with the help of Ron K, the old  corroded supports were removed and the new one fitted on Wednesday 11th March.

Our thanks to Terry and Ron for their rapid action. Problem Solved.😥

Goodbye to a dear friend

Club members with Lynn at her farewell.

We were very sorry today that we had to say goodbye to Lynn from the Hoylake Community Centre.

The Club members always sought refuge in the Community Centre Cafe when the weather was inclement.

Lynn served us with refreshments and looked after us at the Cafe.

Club chairman John presented Lynn with a bouquet of flowers on her last day today Wednesday 31st July.

Happy retirement Lynn

and best wishes from us all.
